UBS Issues Critical Appeal - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

All blood types are in short supply and United Blood Services is issuing a critical appeal.

Les Long with UBS says, "It's predominantly O positive and O negative that we are behind on. As people get back into the back to school activities, they get busy and they just don't get the time to come and donate."

Everyone who donates at UBS  through Saturday, August 26th, will receive a free t-shirt and be registered to win a $50 gift certificate from Wal-Mart. One winner will be drawn every day.

To donate, stop by UBS at 48th and University or call 741-1752 to make an appointment.
