Three Women Injured in Weekend Rollover

Two women are at home and one is still in the hospital recovering after Saturday afternoon's rollover on the South Loop 289.

Police say 54-year-old Alexis Anderson was west bound near Quaker around 1:30pm when she lost control of the GMC Envoy she was driving. It sideswipe a van and then flipped.

Anderson and her two passengers, 55-year-old Kathy Kelch and 70-year-old Anne Vetesk were taken to University Medical Center.

Anderson and Kelch were treated and released, Vetesk remains in satisfactory condition.

The rollover blocked traffic on the South Loop for about 30-minutes.
