LCU Kicks Off 50th Anniversary Celebration

Lubbock Christian University is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Monday, students kicked off the beginning of a year-long celebration. Faculty, staff and students participated in song and worship for the first chapel service of the year. Services were followed by the first day of classes. The very first chapel service was in 1957 when the school opened with only 110 students.
