Post Office Renamed After Fallen Dimmitt Soldier

The Dimmitt Post office will be re-named to honor a fallen soldier. Tuesday, President Bush signed Congressman Randy Neugebauer's legislation to name the post office after Sgt. Jacob Dan Dones.

Dones died last October when his base in Iraq was hit by enemy fire. He served in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded a number of medals including the purple heart and bronze star.
