Casas for CASA Winners Drawn

Four South Plains families have new play-houses to play in.  Gloria Espinoza says, "It feels awesome. I love it. It's a great cause and I love that even more."  Espinoza bought her raffle ticket ten minutes before the winning names were drawn at the South Plains Mall Saturday afternoon.  She won a gazebo like playhouse in the NewsChannel 11 Casas for CASA fundraiser.

CASA Executive Director Amy Piva says, "The real winners are the abused kids who are going to get volunteers because so many people came out and bought raffle tickets."  The raffle raised more than $20,000 for CASA which helps provide a voice for abused children in the court-room.

The four winners drawn Saturday are Gloria Espinoza of Lubbock, Slyvia Todd of Slaton, Judy Kennedy of Brownfield and Zane Biscoe of Lubbock.
