City Worker Injured While Repairing Stop Sign - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A stop sign accident caused another accident overnight.

A city worker reported to the 5600 block of Brownfield Monday morning to repair a stop sign that had been knocked down by a vehicle. As he used a saw to remove part of the sign, the blade snapped off and pierced his neck.

He has since been treated and released from UMC and is expected to return to work Tuesday.
