This sounds too good to be true, but researcher in the Journal of the American Medical Association are reporting after studying about eighteen hundred people for nine years that the consumption of fruit and vegetable juice can prevent the onset of Alzheimer's disease.

Specifically, the recipe for that is three or more serving of fruit or vegetable juice a week can cut the risk of developing Alzheimer disease by a whopping sixty-seven percent.

"They can reduce the UM damage of brain cells and so they can prevent a delay in the degeneration of brain cell," said Dr. Qi Dai the Lead Researcher.

The key, researchers say, is in the antioxidants that are plentiful in the skin or outer portion of fruit and vegetables so whenever possible, don't throw the skin out when you make juice.
