South Plains Balloon Roundup Underway - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

If you get up early September 9th, you will see several balloons across the South Plains skyline.  The Southwest Regional Balloon Club is hosting the 2006 South Plains Balloon Roundup" this weekend.

Twenty to thirty hot air balloons will be launched from the field east of Frenship's Tiger Stadium at sunrise, both Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. The public is encouraged to come out for this free event.
