HomeCare Solutions is a proud sponsor of the Positively Pink Campaign and has always been an advocate for breast cancer treatment and research. Breast cancer is not predictable, has no agenda, and affects about one in four Americans.
We see patients from their early 20s to their late 90s and observe the far reaching effects of the disease up close and personal. We see the patients as they go through diagnosis, surgery, subsequent treatments and finally into recovery. Unfortunately, we also see patients that have, for one reason or another, postponed diagnosis or treatment and suffer the terminal track of the disease. These are the patients we work to help. Breast cancer does not automatically translate into a terminal diagnosis, but without preventative measures, prompt diagnosis, and appropriate treatment, breast cancer does kill.
If we can help people become proactive in their own health, then we become strong advocates for them. Our advocacy begins with prevention and awareness. By sponsoring the Positively Pink Campaign, we are helping to contribute to the eradication of this disease and promoting healthy lifestyles, living our corporate philosophy and mission.
