If you're ever rushed to the emergency room and are unconscious or unable to communicate, a new report shows your cell phone could provide the clues needed to help save your life.
You can prepare for that right now. All you need to do is enter the word ice, I-C-E into the contacts section of your phone. Emergency personnel know that ICE stands for "in case of emergency". Because that's a convenience way for doctors to reach your loved ones quickly and to find out about allergies or other conditions.
The idea was presented to the American Conference of Emergency Physicians. Now it's up to all of us, to follow through and make sure we have "ICE" on our cell phones.
