Light and Simple Turkey:
Place breast in crock pot, mix soup and cranberry sauce and pour over turkey. Cook on high for 2 hours and on low for 3 to 4 hours. Check temperature of breast. It should be 170 to 180 degrees.
Gravy: Use package mix and make according to directions. Or 1 can of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of white wine, 1/2 cup water, and 1 teaspoon of ground sage.
Dressing: Use package mix according to directions.
Sweet potatoes: 2 cans sweet potatoes or yams, 1 can crushed pineapple, pinch of salt.
Mash potatoes and then mix with salt and pineapple. Bake until hot. Layer with marsh mellows and put under boiler until lightly browned. Watch carefully because they brown very quickly.
Green Baby Peas: Put 1/2 cup of watering a pan with a pinch of salt, add peas. Cook until defrosted and warm. They do not need cooking, Just heating.
Dessert: Apple Cobbler made with canned unsweetened apples sprinkled with pecans.
