Several dozen people came out to celebrate the opening of a new clinic that will make it more convenient for families on the north side of Lubbock to care for sick children.
Just like the first clinic, this second location of the Lubbock Children's Health Clinic will treat any child from birth to age 18.
"Lubbock Children's Health Clinic provides health care for every child who walks in the door regardless if they can pay. If they can't pay, we will see that they get the treatment they need. That is our mission," said Sherry Phillips, President of the Lubbock Children's Clinic Board of Directors, says,
The Lubbock Children's Health Clinic located on north University will provide immunizations, wellness exams, school and sports physicals and chip exams with lab work and a pharmacy on site. You can find it at 302 N. University. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon. You can also go to the second clinic at 1301 Redbud. Hours there are 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
