Do you feel bloated after the holidays and looking for a quick fix?
A new pill is promising to beat the bloat. The so-called "flat stomach" pills are a pro biotic blend of supplements and they're supposed to provide good bacteria to the body and counteract the bad bacteria that produces symptoms, like bloating.
Well, that's the theory. But doctors say the reality is there is no magic pill that can tighten the tummy.
"I generally would recommend caution in any of these things that are not well tested and that is a good practice for any ailment," says Dr. Stuart Spechler, gastroenterologist.
Flat stomach pills are $12 a bottle. Sit-ups are free.
