One of the hazards of winter weather is dry, itchy skin that can be painful.
Dermatologists will tell you the best thing you can do to protect your skin is to use a moisturizer while you skin is still wet.
"While you still have water on your body, don't dry, pour a moisturizing lotion or even bath oil in your skin and soothe it over you so that it will incorporate those drops of moisture," said Dr. Forrest Brown, a Dematologist.
Dr. Brown says you don't need to buy expensive moisturizers with exotic ingredients. Vaseline is cheap and it works because he says as a rule, the greasier, the better.
