A Lubbock soldier is now a purple heart recipient. The Monterey High School graduate was injured in Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated and destroyed the humvee he was in. Newschannel 11's Nicole Pesecky sat down with Jason's uncle and brings us Jason's story of bravery and courage.
