Tuberculosis Testing - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Tuberculosis Testing

This update: The State Health Department sent out letters to people they believed were exposed at UMC. So far, the Health Department says they've tested almost 1,700 people.

Some of the tests have come back positive, but officials say that does not mean they have the disease and even those whose tests came back negative, though, must be tested again.

So if you were sent a letter from the Health Department and need a TB test another clinic is set for Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For more information, you can call the State Health department at 744-3577
