NewsChannel 11 is taking a closer look at one proposition in particular that might give Lubbock citizens a special reason to vote in this state election. Proposition 4 would authorize up to $1 billion dollars in bonds to pay for maintenance, improvement, repair and construction projects for nine state agencies. And NewsChannel 11's Holly Kennedy found out part of that money would directly effect people here in Lubbock.

Funeral arrangements are final for Doctor Winston Witt and his wife Zenaida. A memorial service for Doctor and Mrs. Whitt will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday night at Christ the King Church, located at 54th and Nashville. Sixteen constitutional amendments will appear on the November 6 ballot, including Proposition 4, seeking $36.6 million to expand and improve Lubbock's DPS crime lab, expand the driver license office and parking and address overcrowding issues as part of a 97,000-square-foot DPS Regional Headquarters.
