Wishing Bowl Affair

Ever been to the Wishing Bowl Affair?

That annual fundraiser is set for this Friday, hosted by the Llano Estacado Clay Guild. That means you are invited to come select a one-of-a-kind bowl and when you fill that bowl with soup, you will also be fulfilling a child's needs.

"Its a truly unique event. We have all these bowls that the kids in the children's hospital have made and we are going to silent auction them and we have the wonderful artist bowls from the clay guild," said Jana Hill. 

The Wishing Bowl Affair is a fundraiser for Covenant Children's Hospital this Friday from six to nine in the evening at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Art. Tickets are $25, but you need to get them before Friday. For more information call 725-4580.
