A Parent's Stress Level Can Effect A Child's Immune System

This could be an eye opener for some families.

The mood and behavior of parents can have a direct effect on the health of their children, that's according to the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. A study in that journal found that kids whose families reported stress and anxiety had more fevers than the children in families that were not stressed.

Surprisingly, the research also found that the children saw a boost in the immune system during times of stress, indicating that somehow nature compensates for kids since in adults, stress weakens the immune system.
