Tai Chi To Help With Diabetes

If you have type two diabetes, Texas Tech researchers are looking for you.

A new study is about to begin focusing on the effects of Tai Chi exercise on people with diabetes. Tai Chi is a low impact form of martial arts that uses flowing movements. It is believed to help regulate blood pressure and improve balance and prevent falls.

So, if you are diabetic age 50 or older and would like to attend free Tai Chi classes three times a week for six months call the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center for more information. That number is 743-2153.
