Are cell phone signals really strong enough to interfere with the equipment in hospitals and doctors offices?
A new study from the Mayo clinic tested 192 medical devices in 75 patient care rooms and came to the conclusion that the warnings posted in hospitals may need to be altered or just thrown out altogether.
After 300 tests in all, researchers say they could not find any interference from the normal use of a cell phone. Even when all the different phones and varied types of technologies were tested.
I'm not telling you to break the rules and call all your friends from your cell phone in the hospital, I'm just the messenger here.
The Mayo Clinic says they can't figure out why cell phones are a "no-no."
