Sarah C. Scheel, DO Family Practice Physician
Sarah C. Scheel, DO believes it takes more than a healthy body to make a healthy patient. Dr. Scheel's philosophy is simple: "To be healthy in mind, body and spirit. To be a healer, one must treat the entire person - mind, body and spirit." As a member of the PNS family she welcomes Medicare patients as she brings this holistic approach to each and every patient.
Dr. Scheel is a family practice physician and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Women's University and graduated from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center. She completed her residency at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas. Dr. Scheel is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. Scheel's skills as a healer are augmented by her skills as a teacher: she taught 5th grade math and K-8 music before becoming a physician. She enjoys family activities, swimming and dog training.

Dr. Dolores Buscemi, MD Internal Medicine Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Dr. Dolores Buscemi graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 1995. She joined the faculty at the TTUHSC Internal Medicine Department where she taught and practiced medicine until joining UMC PNS this month.
She specializes in General Internal Medicine and received a board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Buscemi is married to Dominick J. Casadonte and is a member of St. Elizabeth's Church where she teaches religious education. She enjoys quilting, exercise and music.
"I love the challenge of taking care of patients with multiple and complicated medical problems," Dr. Buscemi said. "Managing chronic diseases lengthens peoples' lives and improves their quality of life, which is why I enjoy General Internal Medicine so much."
Dr. Buscemi invites both her current patients and new patients to her new location in Salem Village. With special interest and training in adult medicine, Dr. Buscemi accepts all Medicare patients.
Dr. Luke Hinshaw, MD Internal Medicine
Dr. Luke Hinshaw received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Eastern New Mexico University Portales. He then completed medical school in 2001 at the University of New Mexico where he also completed his residency in 2004.
Dr. Hinshaw specializes in internal medicine and is currently a member of the Texas Medical Association, American Board of Internal Medicine, American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Hinshaw is happily married to his wife, Melissa, and they have two sons, Lukas,4, and Jaden, 2. During his time off, Dr. Hinshaw enjoys cycling and rock climbing, and he has a great interest in history.
Dr. Hinshaw's personal philosophy is "to help my patients in any way possible in the hopes they will pass it on."
