Two Lubbock Hospital Expand Facilities

Two Lubbock hospitals are expanding their services with new facilities. Friday afternoon, Covenant Medical Center opened the "Neuroscience Institute" located at 3610 22nd street, the institute offers patient education and rehabilitation. Six agencies including the American Parkinsons Disease Association and High Plains Epilepsy Association will be housed there.

Thursday, UMC Health Systems opened its new wellness center in the Rockrdige Plaza at 82nd and Slide. The center focuses on healthy lifestyle activities for those 55 years and older.
