A new report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) sends up a red flag about the blood pressure of Americans.
According to the CDC, one in three Americans is living with high blood pressure. A survey of 20,000 Americans showed that 98 percent say they've been trying to cut back on salt, drink less alcohol, and get more exercise.
High blood pressure is a major and silent risk factor for heart attacks and strokes. The CDC says the findings are a wake-up call that Americans need more help.
