Hospital Considers Banning Popular Shoes

You've seen those funny looking plastic shoes with holes called Crocs. One hospital in Sweden is considering a ban against them.

Hospital officials at Blekinge Hospital in southern Sweden say they're concerned that the shoes can generate static electricity and they say that could cause some interference with medical equipment. So, they're debating whether the shoes should be banned from the hospital dress list.

Meanwhile, Crocs Inc. released a statement this week arguing that several factors contradict that finding.
