Good news about Chicken Pox. It may be on its way out thanks to the Chicken Pox Vaccine.
The Centers for Disease Control says there has been a nearly 80% drop in that disease since the vaccine hit the market in 1995. That percentage is remarkable because before the vaccine, there were about four million cases of Chicken Pox in this country every year.
If you think, what's the big deal about Chicken Pox? Every year, it used to send 11,000 people to the hospital, and at least a 100 people to the grave. So, we've come a long way. The study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
