South Plains Community Bids Farewell to "Dean of Cotton"

On Friday, family, friends, other residents gathered to celebrate the life of Adolph Hanslik, who died on Monday.

Hanslik is known for helping the cotton industry grow into a multi-billion dollar industry. He was also a local philanthropist.

Hanslik will be buried Monday in his hometown of Halletsville, Texas.
