Recall Petition for City Councilwoman Due Tuesday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The group that started the petition to recall City Councilwoman Linda Deleon says it has collected enough signatures to do so. The petition was started after Deleon voted to turn this South Beach Club into a city visitor's center. 

Members of the group, led by Roger Settler say Deleon votes with the council and does not represent minorities in her district. But, Deleon's supporters say that is not true.

For the recall to be successful, the group had to get 494 people in Deleon's district to sign the petition. The group is expected to make an announcement about the petition later Tuesday.
