Red Light Cameras Now Operational

Red light runners beware. Red light cameras are ready to take your picture.

The cameras are already in operation are at I-27 and South Avenue Q, I-27 and 66th Street, and 19th Street and Indiana Avenue. For the next two weeks, violators will receive a warning from the City of Lubbock. After that, citations will be issued. First and second time offenders will pay a $75 fine. After the third instance, the fine will rise to $150.

Red light cameras will soon be installed at nine other Lubbock intersections, to be operational by July 1.
