City of Lubbock Approves Land Purchase from LISD - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock City Council has approved the purchase of more land for three baseball fields. This comes less than a week after the Council approved 12 million dollars for a youth sports complex in southwest Lubbock County.

Council members voted to buy the land from Lubbock Independent School District for $369,000. The land is located at North University Avenue and the Clovis Highway.
