Just hours ago three people were injured after two cars collided with each other sending one of the cars spinning out of control.

It all happened right before 2:30 Tuesday morning at 4901 4th Street. Police tell us a white Lexus and black Ford Focus were both headed westbound on 4th Street. The Lexus hit the Ford Focus spinning it out of control.

A 29 year old and 35 year old in the Focus were ejected through the back window. They both remain at University Medical Center with serious injuries. The 21 year old male driver of the Lexus suffered head lacerations. He was transported to UMC with moderate injuries.
