Shallowater Man Hospitalized Following Mobile Home Fire - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An elderly man is recovering after his mobile home went up in smoke Tuesday morning.

Around 10 a.m., the Shallowater Fire Department responded a mobile home park in the 400 block of the Clovis Highway. There they found heavy smoke inside one of the homes.

Paramedics took the resident to University Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation. Authorities say he was not seriously injured.

Right now the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
