New Deal Advances to 1A State Baseball Championship - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The New Deal Lions beat Thorndale 3-0 this morning in the Class 1A Baseball State Semifinals in Round Rock to advance to the state title game tomorrow at 4 p.m. 9th ranked New Deal will face #7 Archer City. 1 school will win their first state title ever.

New Deal Baseball had made the State Semis the past 2 seasons but lost to Thorndale 20-0 in 2005 and to Gilmer Union Hill 9-2 last season.

NewsChannel 11 is in Round Rock with the team and will have complete coverage of the title game Thursday on the news at 6 and 10.
