Group of Cyclists Ride Cross Country for a Good Cause

Their goal is to bike cross country and they've made their way to Lubbock already, but the real goal here is to raise money for cancer research.

Texas 4000 Team is following in Lance Armstrong's footsteps raising cancer awareness by bike. More than 20 bikers made their way to the hub Wednesday to promote cancer awareness and raise money for cancer research. They've already raised more than $200,000.

Many of the riders are motivated by personal tragedies that have happen in their lives. But they hope to make a difference in others. In each city they stop in on their way to Alaska the cyclists plan to do presentations and get donations. Texas 4000 Team left Lubbock around 8:00 Thursday morning and they're now headed to Clovis New Mexico.
