Aerocare Called to Traffic Accident Near Hale Center - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Aerocare responded to a serious traffic accident near Hale Center just after 3 p.m.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, an 18-year-old male lost control of his Mitsubishi Montero on County Road 245, a dirt road. He was driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a utility pole, snapping it in half.

In an effort to rescue the driver, crews had to remove the top half of his vehicle.

Aerocare flew the victim to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
