Plainview Hosts Bar-None Rodeo

There will be plenty of cowboys and spurs in Plainview this weekend at the 63rd annual Bar-None Rodeo.

The main rodeo events stat at 7:30 p.m. To purchase a ticket or for more information call 239-2142. Tickets are $8 at the gate and $4 for kids 12 and under.

In addition to rodeo events, there are a number of other events Saturday starting with a parade downtown at 11 a.m. That is followed by Ping-Pong Palooza and cowboy music at 11:30 a.m. in Millennium Park.

A $5 BBQ lunch will be catered by Rockin' R at 11:45 a.m. There will also be free watermelon and a bake sale. A rodeo clown will make an appearance at Noon. Then at 12:30 p.m., it's the Little Mr. and Miss Firecracker Pageant.
