Three people are behind bars after a brief car chase in North Lubbock.
It began around 2:00am, when officers attempted a traffic stop in the 2700 Block of Duke, but the driver initially refused to pull over.
Minutes later, officers found a small amount of crystal meth inside the vehicle. All three people in the vehicle were taken into custody for evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
Police say additional charges are possible, because the vehicle pulled over in a drug free zone.
