Lubbock Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Circus Inn, Supercuts

Investigators are still gathering information at the Circus Inn off the Slaton Highway. Three suspects armed with guns allegedly robbed at least one person at the motel, and then stole a Suburban.

NewsChannel 11 has just learned that police may have at least one of the suspects in custody in East Lubbock.

The hotel robbery came just two hours after someone held up the SuperCuts in the 3100 block of 50th Street. Witnesses say the bandit was an Hispanic man armed with a knife. He is apparently between 20 and 30 years of age, and was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with khaki shorts and a black baseball cap. He reportedly called himself "Antoine."

If you have any that could help in the investigation of either robbery, you are urged to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
