Lubbock City Council Approves Second Natural Gas Company - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It was unanimous. The City Council has approved a second natural gas company for Lubbock.

West Texas Gas, of Midland, would primarily provide service to new Lubbock developments, which means customers will not have the choice of switching from their current provider.

It will be up to the developers to decide which company to use for new communities.
