Texas Attorney General Cracks Down on MySpace Sex Offenders

The Texas attorney general's office says seven convicted sex offenders with profiles on MySpace.com have been arrested.

They were picked up after MySpace.com released the names of offenders with online profiles to the Texas attorney general's office, which had issued a subpoena.

  • Patrick Joseph Blevins, 49, arrested in Houston, TX
  • Reginald Lee Coll, 27, arrested in Houston, TX
  • Ronald Daven Metoyer, 41, arrested in Houston, TX
  • Robert Shepard Walter, 23, arrested in Houston, TX

Each was ordered held without bond in the Harris County jail. Motions were also filed to revoke the parole of Blevins, Collins and Metoyer.

  • Scott Peter Hanse, 44, arrested in Glenn Heights, TX
  • Jason Labronte Carr, 31, arrested in Austin, TX
  • Jeremy Bryan Polak, 28, arrested in Round Rock, TX.

Polak was arrested as a parole violator who refused to register as a sex offender.
