A Lubbock teen is the apparent victim of a homicide Thursday night.
Derrick Faulkenberry, 17, was found in his home at The Park apartments, 48th and Elkhart, just after 10 p.m. Thursday night. Faulkenberry suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Hours later, Lubbock Police arrested Dameon Nicholas Pakus, 17, and charged him with murder.
Police questioned several witnesses, including Faulkenberry's neighbor, who says he heard the gunshot.
