Toddler Scalding Trial Ends in Mistrial

The jury could not agree on a verdict, so the trial of Vanessa DeLeon, 24, ended in mistrial.

DeLeon was charged with injury to a child, after she allegedly put her niece's foot in scalding water in March of 2005.

Lubbock jurors deliberated for almost three hours before deciding they were dead-locked.
