You can get up close and personal with tigers, buffalos and camels right here in the Hub City.
Critterfest 2007 kicked off at the Lubbock Science Spectrum on Friday. There will be thousands of exotic animals including alligators and giant tortoises. Kids are also invited to take part in the petting zoo and pony rides.
Critterfest runs through Sunday. Admission is $8.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors and children 3-12.
Kids under three get in for free.
