Alcohol is believed to have played a factor in a morning accident that sent four people to the hospital.
Jesus Bentancourt, 53, was driving a 2003 Chevy pickup east bound on FM-41 around 11:30 Sunday morning. He failed to yield and pulled out in front of a tractor trailer truck traveling South bound on US-87.
The driver of the tractor trailer swerved to miss Bentancourt, which resulted in the truck flipping on its side and sliding into a bar ditch. The four people inside of the tractor trailer were transported to UMC with minor injuries.
Bentancourt walked away from the accident uninjured but was arrested on the scene for driving under the influence.
