Former Lubbock AJ Employee Facing Child Pornography Charges

A former Lubbock-Avalanche Journal employee is facing charges after being accused of having inappropriate images of juveniles on his work and home computer.

George John Maslovar, 54, is charged with interstate receipt of child pornography. He was arrested on Friday and has since been released on a personal recognizance bond. An investigation into Maslovar has been ongoing since May.

He worked in the paper's mailroom, but allegedly resigned after being confronted by personnel.
