Accident Knocks Out Power to 1,400 Xcel Customers - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Hundreds of Lubbock homes lost power Wednesday evening after a truck hit a utility pole near 42nd and Knoxville.

Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries but police are still investigating what caused the wreck. The accident knocked out power to about 1,400 XCEL Energy customers.

Crews restored power to all the homes within an hour.
