One of Lubbock's last and oldest homes in North Overton was on the move Monday.
The 96-year-old house previously located on the corner of Main Street and Avenue R was moved to the 1600 block of Avenue R, to make room for a new strip mall.
The 4600 square foot, rambling red bungalow was built in 1911. It was once home to Lubbock's former city manager, A.B. Davis.
