The Midland woman who struck and killed a Texas Tech student last year, will soon be free once again.
Erin Reagan is scheduled to be released after serving a six month sentence. She pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter in the death of Amber Menefee, 21, in February 2006. Police say Reagan was driving the wrong way on West Loop 289 when she hit Menefee's car head-on.
Reagan will now be on probation for the next eight years. She will also wear an electronic monitoring device for the next year.
