Teens Accused in Levelland Kidnapping to Remain Behind Bars - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Two juveniles accused of kidnapping a Levelland baby will remain in custody until their trial. They are accused of kidnapping three-month-old Saydi Brooklyn Mendez earlier this month. The child was found in the parking lot of a Levelland Walmart about 90 minutes after an Amber Alert was issued.

Friday, a Hockley County judge decided the 15-year-old and 16-year-old should be detained until their hearing. A date has not been set.
