Police Continue to Search for a Killer Monday Morning after an Overnight Homicide

A 21-year-old is dead after an altercation inside the 711 convenience store at 3802 34th Street. Around 1:30 a.m. Monday, police say a gun was drawn and the victim was shot, that's when he stumbled outside where he was found by police.

NewsChannel 11's cameras were first on the scene to capture exclusive video of EMS workers rushing the victim to the hospital. He was taken to UMC where he was later pronounced dead. We do know the victim was a 21-year-old Hispanic male- his name is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Police are still looking for his killer this morning. The suspect is a white male in his 20's, about 6 feet tall, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and a black baseball cap. If you have any information that could help police with this case, call Crime Line, (806) 741-1000.
